On behalf of the ESTAL President, Mr. Ivo Vermeeren, we are pleased to invite you to the 2017 ESTAL Congress that will be held on 21 and 22 September 2017 in Toledo (south of Madrid), the capital city of Castile - La Mancha that was declared World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1986 and is known as the “City of the Three Cultures”.
Program
The Congress program will include presentations about the latest research and experimental studies on aluminium surface treatment, the recent development of aluminium markets, recycling of aluminium, additive manufacturing as well as presentations about the new developments in the supply chain of aluminium surface treatment.

During the Congress the participants will have the possibility to visit the plants of EXTOL, an extrusion, coating and anodising plant in Toledo. The social program will offer the opportunity to visit the city of Toledo and its famous cathedral as well as to have dinners in typical restaurants of the town.
Congress venue
The 2017 Congress will take place at the 5-star Eurostars Buenavista hotel in Toledo, where hotel rooms have been reserved as well. However, participants can choose to book a room in ther nearby Beatriz Hotel (2 minutes walk)

Airport transfers
Toledo is located approx. 60 km south of Madrid. Transfers from the airport to the hotel and vice-versa will be organised for the participants on the main arrival and departures days. Toledo can also be easily reached with the high speed train from Madrid-Atocha to Toledo (Duration: 35 minutes / train frequency: every hour).
